Worship Sri Ganesh

Sri Ganesh is a Hindu God, but also worshipped within many religions. His head is that of an elephant and body is  human. To those, who do not know about Hinduism, Sri Ganesh would appear to be a mythological figure and would look upon His worship as paganism practiced by uncivilized, uneducated lot. They are thankfully mistaken as Sri Ganesh is a highly revered Godhead in the Vedas, which are the world's oldest Holy Scriptures and foundation of Hinduism. Sri Ganesh is another dimension of Supreme Divinity for the benefit of world and mankind. The enlightened saints who have seen  Him have mentioned about His infinitely beautiful form and kind grace. Sri Ganesh is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati ( also known as Durga ). Many interesting tales are mentioned about Sri Ganesh and His Divine Family. He is the remover of obstacles, bestower of prosperity, wealth, happiness and spiritual attainments.  There are many ways to worship Sri Ganesh and receive His blessings. Simplest way is to install His picture or statue in your home and light an oil lamp, incense sticks in front of His picture. Offer Him flowers and pray to Him with pure heart and sincerity. You should also chant His mantras and hymns. I rather would suggest you find and discover your very own Sri Ganesh in your very own way ! Glory to Sri Ganesh !

His mantras are:
  1. Om Gam Ganpatye Namo Namah

  2. Om Sri Ganeshaya Namah

  3. Om Ekdantaya Vidmahe Vakratundaye Dhimhi Tanno Danti Prachodayat

  4. Sri Ganesh Atharva Sheersh Stotram (Hymn)

  5. Sri Ganesh Sankat Nashnam Stotra ( Hymn)

  6. Vakratunda Mahakaya Surya Koti Samprapha. Nirvighnam Kurume Dev Sarv Karyeshu Sarvada
It is auspicious to play the above chants in home, offices and car. These chants charge the atmosphere with positive energy and attract purity, prosperity, joy and peace.
