Mantra Chanting

A mantra is a series of words which one must chant repeatedly to achieve beneficial results. Mantra chanting provide spiritual and material benefits. It can help you attain your spiritual goal and also can be used for physical, mental and emotional health purposes. Mantras originated in the Vedic tradition of India, becoming an essential part of the Hindu tradition and a customary practice within Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism. Its literal translation would be "instrument of thought".The most basic mantra is Om, which in Hinduism is known as the "pranava mantra," the source of all mantras.To attain single-pointedness of mind, repetition of mantra can be done through chanting, speaking, whispering, mental repetition and writing.

Om Namah Shivaya- Salutations to Lord Shiva
