Do only One Thing at a time
Today's fast paced lives and modern theories encourage multitasking. Multitasking means the ability to do multiple things at the same time. For example, you do business phone calls while driving or you are preparing the balance sheet and dictating a letter to your secretary simultaneously ! In fact in corporate world, multitasking is a valued skill and often you see it on resumes and job interviews. Though many people and professionals pride themselves in doing multitasking, the fact is that multitasking is an illusion. Tasks are superficially done while multitasking. Our brains become more stressed and loaded. Multitasking unnecessarily builds up stress. Human brain is not designed to do multitasking. Try focusing on a single task, before moving on to the next one
