Hinduism has a deep influence in many South East Asian Countries and Japan as well. Bodhisena from Madurai introduced Buddhism and along with it, an influence of Hinduism into Japan, which still exists today. The major Hindu Gods like Ganesha, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Shiva etc have got integrated into Japanese spirituality with similar sounding names. The practitioners are least aware of the Hindu origin of the Gods they are worshipping. With more and more such facts are being discovered and getting published, the more is the integration of cultures and religions happening amongst various nations. This helps in achieving universal brotherhood and peace in the world.
